by Admin

Reliance Jio continues to climb one ladder after another to reach the pinnacle of success and gain subscribers.

Mukesh Ambani’s company is extremely successful in all those steps. Recently, the subscriber base of this telecom giant has crossed 40 crores.

This new information on the user base was informed on behalf of the company while calculating the earnings in the second quarter.

A few days ago, Jio came up with several new and low-cost postpaid plans to attract customers from competing telecom company Vodafone Idea (VI).

That is why their user base has increased even more than before.

Recently, Reliance Jio reported that the company’s subscriber base stands at Rs 40.56 crore.

The year-over-year growth of subscribers has been 13.96 percent.

At the same time in 2019, Mukesh Ambani’s company had 35.59 crore subscribers.

Jio increased its subscriber base to 7.3 million in September alone.

However, Mukesh Ambani’s company lags behind the previous quarter in this statistic.

Because in June, Reliance Jio was able to make 99 lakh customers members of its own family.

With the increase in Reliance Jio and retail business capital over the last 6 months, we have welcomed several financial investors to invest.

Reliance Jio’s main objective is to create more opportunities in India to expand all our businesses, says Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Limited.

The revenue per user (ARPU) of this telecom giant has increased by Rs 145 per user.

In the previous quarter, this figure was Rs 140.30 per customer for Reliance Jio.

Mukesh Ambani’s company has grown 3.2 percent this year compared to the previous quarter’s ARPU.

Jio gain subscribers base reached 40.56 million in September, boosting the company’s annual growth by 15.9%.

The average wireless data usage per user in this quarter was 12GB. Again the average voice call amount per user was 776 minutes per month.

Reliance Jio’s total wireless data traffic, on the other hand, reached 1.442 billion GB, up 20% from last year.

This huge increase in data traffic has been noticed mainly due to the house arrest of people in the lockdown in Corona.

But not just customer growth. Jio also posted a profit of Rs 3,020 crore in the quarter, more than double last year’s profit.

Reliance Jio earned Rs 990 crore in the same period last year. The telco has also announced the launch of the new Jio UPI in the Jio app across India.
